| When I was in college I bought a powerbook 5300cs new. It cost $2500.00. I ended up selling it to one of those places that buys computers for $900.00 after graduating. I wish I had kept it. I found this model on ebay a few years ago. It was dead so the guy was selling it for $5.00. I bought it, and when it showed up, I plugged it in and it worked great. The 5300cs was a great computer for 1995. I used it for all my electrical engineering homework and my girlfriend used it to write papers. I even used it to surf the 1995 internet, check email and digitize songs from CDs. I remember it was one of the faster computers at the time clocking in at 100MHz |
